The Countdown Begins — Introducing 14, My New Horror Novel.

You might know the feeling.

That moment when you look up from your life — your routine, your carefully constructed sense of normal — and something suddenly feels off. Not a sound, not a shadow. Just a shift in the air, like the world exhaled and forgot to draw breath.

Somewhere in the back of your mind, a quiet voice asks the hard questions:

What if something has always been there, you just hadn’t noticed it yet?

That feeling is where 14, my new novel, begins.

Kate Townsend is twenty-three years old when her life finally starts — new city, dream job, a future that for once feels like it belongs to her. She isn’t looking for danger.

But something finds her anyway.

It starts small. A poem she doesn’t remember writing. Numbers that change overnight. And then — in the corners of her vision — shapes that don’t belong to the light.

At first she thinks she’s crazy. Until the others start to emerge.

The entities in 14 don’t announce themselves. They simply exist — tall, hooded, faceless — watching from the edges of the world.

Everything about them seems to point to one terrible truth. They thrive in suffering. They close in. They wait.

And then something happens that changes everything Kate thought she knew about them.

I won’t tell you what. That’s the point.

14 is a story about the end of the world — except this time there are no heroes with a plan. No last-minute saves. There is only Kate, a countdown she can’t stop, and the realization that no one will believe her in time.

This story is what it feels like to watch the world shift beneath your feet and understand, with horrible clarity, that you are one person standing in the middle of it all.

14, my new horror novel, is coming soon.

What would you do when no one believes it is the end?
